Transmission has a shudder between 15-20 mph around 1000-1500 rpm. Mainly happens in std mode, other modes run at higher rpms but does still happen on occasion.
New qx80 should be taken off the road. The infotainment system is the central computer system to the car. Countless times where the system reboots while driving yielding electronics cluster (speed control, heads up display, etc) blacked out. Upon "reboot", the stereo system is blaring loud, without ability to turn down volume, creating a dangerous driving environment. Only resolution, to date, is to press and hold for 10-15 seconds the powerbutton to shutoff. Having to do this while driving is dangerous. Other isntances where the car pneumatic suspension system - connected to said infotainment system - faults and creates the car to go up/down while driving. This is similar to a friend who has the same exact car, who's having the same exact issues. There is no resolution. This car needs to be taken off the road until infiniti can prove stable computer functionality. It will create accidents/death. This has happened numerous times. Photo is from most recent after driving "blind" on the cluster back to our driveway to take a picture.
The contact owns a 2018 infiniti qx30. The contact stated that the check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where the diagnostic trouble codes p052e71 and p053a-00 were retrieved. The mechanic determined that the crankcase ventilation system intake valve had failed. The mechanic also informed the contact that the vehicle was a mercedes-benz vehicle that the infiniti manufacturer had rebranded as an infiniti vehicle. The mechanic confirmed that the engine was a mercedes-benz engine. The dealer was notified of the failure. The contact attempted to purchase the part from the dealer, but the dealer provided the incorrect part. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that while driving and coming to a stop, the vehicle stalled intermittently. The contact was able to restart the vehicle and continue driving. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact related the failure to mercedes-benz campaign number: mc-10241531-0001. The mercedes-benz manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The infiniti manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 52,000.
The hood of my vehicle is raised on the upper right side. It was a small opening but now it has gotten bigger. I'm afraid that the entire hood may come off at a high speed. I also have rust spots on the top of my car close to the sunroof. I use infiniti of the palm beaches for all of my services and have reported both concerns and was told it was normal wear and tear. I have owned many cars and never had the problems that i've had with a vehicle.
Multiple electronic and sensor issues with the display screens and infotainment center. Time/time zone change from 12-hour format to military time off and on sometimes multiple times a day. Dash board routinely goes black and not displaying any information. Hud proximity alerts continually go off/flashing when no vehicles are around, tagging the same areas on a specific street that was empty. The sensor system engages the braking system after a faulty proximity alert or a vehicle is outside the normal range. Navigation system map blacking out inability to disconnect bluetooth calls using the steering wheel end button and the end button on the screen. The infotainment screen would not respond to menu button for the audio and climate control nor could you access it through the touchscreen menu. The radio would stop working randomly. I had to go to the dealership to get this corrected it would not restart on its own even if it was left overnight. The audio button also would not work. The car would not recognize the profile connected to the key fob routinely. After service, the car took over 8 minutes to lead the infotainment system. The blind spot warning would not function properly continuously. The car was taken into the dealership multiple times, it was assessed by "engineers" 3 times, and it had a total of 3 infotainment systems in this vehicle with 2 replacements since leasing the vehicle. These issues continue to remain and there seems to be nothing that infiniti can or will do to fix these issues permanently.
The subframe on this car has severely deteriorated causing it to be unsafe to drive. Had 2 individual repair shops to inspect and they both shops said it is too dangerous to drive. This car was bought new and one family owned. The car has 130,000 miles and is in pristine shape. We have been driving car until we heard a noise in rear of car and immediately had it inspected. How many other lives could be in danger because of this issue. Have reported this to nissan and exoculated it, they have no interest in seeing this car and the potential for it causing fatal accidents without individuals being aware of the dangerous subframe.
Supplemental air bag warning light is on. Also the passenger airbag light is on.
The contact owns a 2012 infiniti g37. The contact stated that the air bag warning light was illuminated, and the message "seat belt off" was displayed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where dtc code: b1018 was retrieved. The dealer determined that the passenger's side seat occupant classification system sensor and module diagnostic unit had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired due to the cost. The dealer referred the contact to the nhtsa hotline for assistance. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 178,789.
In october of 2023 i was driving onto the high way and my car just started to slow down i could not accelerate that gas while i was on the highway which is very dangerous when you are on the highway. My car turn off completely the engine light started to blink. All the lights were blinking. The only thing that was on was my radio. I could not move the car i was having. Trouble putting the car into park. Everything was stuck. Good thing i was not in the middle of the highway and not on a really busy highway but it was late at night. Drivers on the high way and myself are out at risk i could not even put my hazards on. A car could have crash into me and serious injury’s could have happen. I was stuck and was having trouble putting the car in park. Could not go into neutral. For a car to come to a sudden stop not be able to put the car in park that can be a risk factor due to if the car turn back on going into neutral on its own. The car was fixed with new engine at an auto body in july or august 2024 now the engine light is on again the car will not even turn on. All the oil leaked out. Infiniti did my last oil change and said it was due at 117k which that is my current reading. When the oil all leaked out the car had a steering issue it crashed into a guardrail. That is the second time the car slow down had some type of issue is a big risk factor in august 2024 when the oil came out the car that can cause a fire and lost of steering the car crashed into rail with us in it. I did not have any warning signs about this going to happen. The car has not been driven since
Hello, i purchased my infiniti q60 red sport brand new in 2028. About a year after that i started to have electrical issues with the car. I've brought it in to the infiniti dealer in valencia, ca numerous times during the warranty period (and a few times out of the warranty period), to have these issues addressed. Some were resolved and some were not. So in the past 4-5 years i've brought my vehicle in about 15 times or more to be fixed. The latest issue is a safety problem. About a week ago i noticed that the passenger seat belt sign on the dash does not come on when a passenger is seated without the belt engaged (normally i get a red warning sign that the seat belt is not buckled for the passenger). At the same time i also noticed that there's a red airbag indicator light that stays on at all times while driving. I brought the car in to the dealer again to have it diagnosed, but the service advisor stated that it will be $235 to diagnose the issue, and that more than likely i have to replace the whole seat for $3,500 or more, because the sensor is part of the seat. So to replace the sensor they have to replace the whole seat. I can not afford to pay thousands of dollars for something that is not wear and tear, nor abuse on my part. It seems to me that this should be covered my the manufacture, especially since the issue is safety related. I would greatly appreciate any help that you can offer. Thank you
