Also, the 2016 X1 has bigger and thirstier engine; the 2020 RAV4 gets 3.5 more mpg. In addition, the X1 is both slightly smaller and shorter than the RAV4. And finally, the Toyota RAV4 fits 10.5 ft² more cargo behind second-row seats. Among similarities are the body structure and maximum occupancy.
