The a/c unit is continuously giving out. The condenser and compression shaft have been replaced twice and have now damaged the evaporator causing it to leak. Due to the a/c system blowing hot air, driving in the high degree weather has became a risk to myself and passengers. Dealership has checked if the parts affected were under warranty to resolve issue, however, honda does not cover evaporator leak problem even though multiple owners have complained about issue. The repair quote is costing owners more than $2k out of pocket that they may have to replace again in a short time. Causing financial burden from the brand's negligence. Issue will first blow hot air on the driver side and the passenger side will soon follow suit.
The ball joint metal part broke. The ball joint is not connected to the lower control arm instead the ball joint is a part that has a metal piece included that connects to the lower control arm. The piece is thin and break in my car over a small pothole doing speed limit this would not happen in any other make. The part looks cheap on the metal piece. The safety of the vehicle was bad until i got a safe place to park the car there was a lot of damage the wheel departed of the cv axle making it dangerous. No symptoms just a piece that is thin and dangerous to any inconvenience that drivers may occur. It would be good there is an action and further investigation of the ball joint part and hopefully there is going to be a recall regarding the incident for a lower control arm that connects directly to the ball joint or a more thick and durable piece
Steering is sticky and difficult to turn sometimes. Sometimes the steering loosens up very quickly resulting in a very fast turn, making it very dangerous. On a regular turn, the steering wheel almost jitters, providing uneven no codes or warnings have shown up. Honda wants $4000 to replace the entire eps rack but have not stated a definitive issue with it. This all started out of nowhere, i was driving in a neighborhood and the steering went haywire.
I took in my car for the fuel pump recall on october 4th at clawson honda fresno. I took it home the same day and the next day my car was stalling and shut off on me. I took my car back to clawson honda on october 8th and they scanned it and said the fuel pressure was low. They cleared the codes that they claimed were unrelated to the recall and wanted to charge me 390 for diagnostics. I refused. My car is still stalling in the road and many of the dash lights come on. The car wont let me accelerate. I took it back to clawson honda october 30th because this issue was not present prior to the recall. We just received a call that the fuel pump that was replaced is making the other components work harder which is causing it to stall. This is all clearly caused by the recall but they want me to pay 1500 out of pocket to have it fixed. Which is unfair. I submitted a complaint to honda corporate but they still say we have to pay dealership fees. My car was working fine before the recall and im frustrated that it was returned to me in worse condition. This was all because of the recall fuel pump and the issues are all connected so i shouldnt have to pay.

Just returned back home from a quick drive and the vehicle was sitting in my driveway. After about 20 min i walked by the car and noticed the entire back window in multiple pieces. There was no one that walked by or drove by. Pieces of glass were noted to be 10 feet behind the vehicle on the driveway. There was no one in the vehicle at the time and nothing in the trunk area that was potentially pressing on the glass. Vehicle was towed to the dealership where it was collision wrapped until the glass could be replaced.
